Among the new students we welcome this fall: 7 inmates in our state's maximum security prison!
These men join Mount Olive Bible College, a ministry of ABC, for an enrollment of 33 MOBC students. Two of them even transferred from lower-security facilities for the chance to earn an accredited degree in Bible & Theology. Another 6 or 7 MOBC seniors are on track to graduate this December, Lord willing.
Classes taught by ABC faculty at the prison this fall include HebrewsโRevelation, Homiletics 2, Principles of Bible Interpretation, Personal & Ministry Finance, and Old Testament Survey.
How do MOBC graduates serve within the corrections system? Here are some examples. Two grads have been appointed pastors at Mount Olive Correctional Complex. Three serve as teaching assistants for MOBC. Another transferred to a different facility where he pastors. These men have the training and opportunity to share the gospel and disciple the incarceratedโa mission field often overlooked.
Would you pray for MOBC? Ask God to protect the students, graduates, and faculty, and use them for His glory.
A New experience for students!
Thanks to our Alpine Ministries adventure guides, a bunch of students enjoyed whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge nearby.

This year's student body represents 33 states and 12 foreign countries. "How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
"I believe these two goals encapsulate the desires that the student body should have for the 2023-2024 school year. First, we will learn to love God more deeply by studying His Word and by obeying the Holy Spirit. Second, we will learn to love others by serving their needs and humbly putting their preferences before our own."
- Gabriel Miller, Student Body President
