Another week of camp is getting underway for ABC students staffing Christian camps around the country. Here's how you can pray specifically for Rachael, a counselor in North Carolina.
Student teaching in a Christian school becomes the capstone for students majoring in Bible & Theology and Elementary Education.
Kara, a 2023 graduate, reflects on her experience:
"Coming into student teaching, I was quite nervous yet excited for the opportunity given to me. As I got to know the students, I was able to understand their learning styles and implement hands-on activities into my lessons that were fun and educational.
"One of the main things I have learned through this experience is to have patience with my students just like God is patient with me. Sometimes my students would say things like: 'Do we have to do this assignment today?' When in our own lives, how often does God give us something to do for Him that we hesitate to do with a good spirit?"

Camp ministry continues for many ABC students this summer! Pray for Daniel, a counselor at Alpine Ministries, as he is halfway through a week of Junior Camp.
"Your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart" (Jeremiah 15:16). Meditate on Scripture today! Let it change you, teach you, and instill joy in your heart.
Even if you live far away, you can take live classes at ABC. With our Live-Online Hybrid courses, you can watch from anywhere in the world as the professor lectures. And yes, you can ask questions and take part in student discussions. Next best thing to being in the classroom yourself!
