Students will have no problem spotting the April Fools joke here. Do you know what it is?
Thanks to Dr. Anderson for being a good sport!

Originally scheduled for today, Parents & Grandparents Day can still be celebrated virtually. Here's appreciating all the families who support their ABC students! They have said with the Apostle John, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

This "Robin Reminder" built her nest behind Pipkin Hall. Keep looking for robins wherever you are, rejoicing in God's tender care. (See original post in comments.)
Paying sin's penalty and satisfying God's wrath at Calvary, Christ also provided the perfect example of endurance. Looking unto him, we can run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1-2). #GoodFriday
"Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him" (Romans 6:9). Happy Resurrection Sunday from ABC!
In Poland to serve as an English teacher, 2018 graduate Virginia Harper has switched to online video chats with some of her students. She writes about ministry these days:
"The people of Poland are more open than ever to Christianity, and many people are getting saved. It is exciting to hear how God is already using this to bring people to Himself."
"Even though we do not speak the language fluently, the other English teachers and I have been making a point to smile even more than usual to anyone we meet as we go grocery shopping during the week. As we walk around town, people look fearful and jump at any sound resembling a cough. They peer at us over their face mask, seeming to question why we look happy. The different ladies at the checkout counter know us and now smile each time we come in (well, maybe it's because of all the frozen pizzas we buy, too). But either way, their frowns turn to a smile when they see joy on our faces."

The last chapel message preached in person this year pointed out four reasons the prophet Jeremiah found hope and you can, too. Listen to alumnus Pastor Patrick Haynes from March 6, "Living Every Day with a Hopeful Heart": abc.edu/chapel
With their church temporarily canceling normal services, Pastor Joshua Harding (2003 graduate) and his wife Christina (2004) started leveraging technology to unite and encourage the congregation of Waller Mill Bible Church in Williamsburg. He explains how their approach goes beyond posting sermons online:
"When we realized that we were going to be unable to hold services for a substantial period of time, we began to consider how we might minister to the spiritual needs of our congregation. We launched a Facebook page and a YouTube channel and started posting short videos that were meant to provide some personal connection during this time of isolation. Though we hope they are informative, they are meant to be personal, build a sense of unity, and offer hope. I record the videos on my cellphone and after a couple of days of a steep learning curve, it has simply become part of my daily routine."
"Also, we have implemented live Zoom meetings—a prayer meeting on Wednesday nights and a fellowship meeting on Sunday nights. We always say that we are a family and this pandemic has given us a perfect opportunity to consider what exactly that means and to be intentional about investing in each other's lives in a very meaningful way."
"We are daily evaluating what we can do to reach out and connect. Our ladies have divided themselves into small groups to check on each other. Families have taken turns calling through the directory to check on each other. We just organized a group of men to record a brief 'Call to Worship' for our Sunday services. In this new reality in which we serve, it is imperative that we continue to minister to the church as holistically as possible."

A different setup but the same message. During the final (online) chapel of the year, Dr. Anderson took one more look at ABC's 2019-2020 theme passage: Psalm 16, "A Song of Trust." You can listen here: abc.edu/chapel.
This recording of yesterday's chapel includes several testimonies from students (beginning at 3:16) and Dr. Anderson's concluding message from Psalm 16 (14:20).
