An ABC faculty member and veteran missionary is spending two weeks teaching Cultural Anthropology in Peru. It's part of a Spanish language immersion training program for U.S. Bible college students, giving them a jump start on Latin American ministry. Pray that he would have eager students and be an encouragement to Peruvian believers. #ABCsummermissions

Every spring, students in Speech class lead a chapel service devoted to the public reading of Scripture. This excerpt features Eileen Murphy reading Matthew's account of Jesus and a woman with great faith.
Bill Hatfield, a student during 1957-1959, remembers helping to cut and build this fireplace from native rock. It still stands in the John Van Puffelen Library, now the centerpiece of the Ryrie Reading Room. What memories do you have around the fireplace?

Appalachian Bible College is pleased to welcome Tim and Erin Rowe to our faculty.
With an extensive background in pastoral, administrative, and Christian school ministry, the Rowes bring a great deal of experience and passion for discipleship. They describe themselves as "thoroughly West Virginians" and say this move was "the natural next step of God's leading us on a path He has chosen for us."
Mr. Rowe notes, "My heartbeat is to train others to be more like Christ and serve Him as a godly example of a servant leader."
"I love being around young people and talking to them about ministry," adds Mrs. Rowe.
This year, besides serving as Registrar, Mr. Rowe will teach History & Philosophy of Education and Adolescent Growth & Development, while Mrs. Rowe teaches several of the English classes. The Rowes have two sons and a daughter.
As missionaries with Appalachian Bible Fellowship, the Rowes seek prayer and financial supporters. Request a prayer card when you email publicrelations@abc.edu. Become a donor at abc.edu/giving.
