Mount Olive Bible College is gearing up for year two! This collaborative outreach of Appalachian Bible College and Catalyst Ministries gives prison inmates the opportunity to take college-level ministry and theology courses. Would you ask God to lead more instructors to this life-changing ministry?

Alumnus Justin Halder ('11, in shorts) helps lead a Bible camp in Indiana every summer, and this year invited Jon Rinker ('98, VP for Development) to serve as speaker. There were several salvation decisions, and more than 100 teens committed to a 40-day challenge of reading through the New Testament.

Two months from today, ABC alumni will be gathering for fellowship and encouragement. This year's speakers are Dr. Steve and Megan Scheibner, who teach and write on parenting. They also experienced the tragedy of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which Megan developed in her book "In My Seat."

Happy 25th anniversary to Youth and Family Ministry Chair Mr. Dan Best and his wife, Vicki! Having met while attending ABC themselves, they are a terrific model to current students of a lasting, Christ-honoring marriage.
If you spot a man repairing medical equipment in a West Africa mission hospital, how do you know he is an ABC student? For starters, the "Serve Now" bracelet is a clue! John and his wife, Anna, are wrapping up a summer internship in Togo before returning to ABC for his senior year.

2014-15 yearbooks have arrived from the publisher and student photographer Daniel looks pleased with the results. "Servants who give thanks" was our theme last year... any guesses what this year's servanthood theme will be?
Appalachian Bible College has been given formal notification of continued accredited status with the Higher Learning Commission (800.621.7440 or www.hlcommission.org), effective July 27.

Welcome, athletes! Volleyball and soccer players are some of the first to arrive for the new school year. They are already training hard.
#tbt to just this past July, when Annalise read her testimony in a Tanzanian church... in Swahili! Annalise is a senior at ABC this fall, majoring in Bible & Theology and Missions.
Sometimes it's just good to hear what God is doing down on the lower half of campus.
It's move-in day for new students! God has brought them from as far away as California and Hungary this year.

Last night's Student Council Kickoff included a rousing game of "Senior Says" along with worship and testimonies under the stars.
Beckley is the nearest sizable town to ABC's campus, but it's also the last name of two of our freshmen. A big Beckley welcome to cousins Marc and Tim!
With the solemn placing of the Bible and the flags at the front of the chapel, ABC's 66th year begins.

In today's chapel, we were joined by this first century Jewish family.
Actually, they were the 2015 Gospel Heralds ministry team retelling the beautiful parable about a prodigal son and his loving Father. Thanks for the good report on your summer, Heralds! And extra thanks to Lauren, 2015 graduate, who flew in to be a part of it.
